Forty years ago, archaeologists unearthed a mass grave of nearly 300 individuals in a small English village. Their story remained unsolved until now. Bioarchaeologist Cat Jarman believes these bones are the remains of the "Great Heathen Army," a legendary Viking fighting force that invaded England in the 9th century. Cat's team of high-tech archaeologists and scientists uncover extraordinary stories, including evidence of women warriors and a lost king reunited with his son in death. The archaeological sleuths wrap up their project with a search for the Viking warriors' camp. In partnership with the Town of Bristol. Note Off-site Location: Pemaquid Point Learning Center.
