Tomes presents Ken Eppler with certificate for America 250th painting

TOMES PRESENTS KEN EPPLER WITH CERTIFICATE FOR AMERICA 250TH PAINTING: State Sen. Jim Tomes (R-Wadesville, left) presented Ken Eppler with a certificate of appreciation at the Evansville Wartime Museum for his "Enduring Spirit" painting that will be featured in Gov. Mike Braun's office at the Indiana Statehouse.

Ken is a veteran of the Gulf War and serves on the Evansville Wartime Museum's education team. He has had many other pieces on display at the museum, as well as at the United States Capitol in Congressman Mark Messmer's office.

"Ken's painting is a great representation of the spirit of America in light of her 250th anniversary," Tomes said. "As a veteran myself, I am honored to be a part of this ceremony and to present Ken with this well-deserved certificate and recognition. I look forward to seeing this painting in the governor's office at the Statehouse."
