Pearl Cohn High School Student Arrested Friday For Bringing Gun In His Backpack
A Pearl Cohn High School student was arrested this morning after the Evolv weapon detection system alerted staff to a gun in the 17-year-old’s backpack as he entered the building. The senior stated the loaded handgun belonged to his father, and he had forgotten it was inside his backpack.
He was charged with juvenile handgun possession and carrying a gun on school property.
